Please follow the steps below to enjoy the beauty & durability of Quorastone surface for a lifetime.

Routine Care

Apply soap and warm water regularly to cleanse the surface and maintain its lustre and sheen. A non-bleach, gentle cleanser should be used to provide for day to day maintenance. Spills should be cleaned up immediately in the same manner for best results.

Stains & Spills

Quorastone prides itself on being stain resistant, but there are days when some stains and spills are more difficult to remove than others, especially if they have dried on the surface. For hard stains, a gentle scrub pad can be used, such as Mr Clean Magic Eraser. Rinse thoroughly after use and wipe with a clean cloth. For stubborn stains such as adhesive, gum or grease, you may need to use a plastic scraper or putty knife to carefully scrape the material off the surface, and then clean as above. For tougher spills, some recommended cleaners include Simple Green, Formula 409, Surface Cleaner or denatured alcohol.

Honed Finish & Darker Colours

Honed Finish & Dark Coloured material require more maintenance & more frequent cleaning to maintain their appearance. Finger prints or Metal scuff marks will appear more readily and be more apparent. These marks can be removed in the same manner as above. Dark colours will typically show more dust, scuffs and dirt than lighter colours. These surfaces will require maintenance more often to keep up their appearance.

Quorastone is heat resistant but not heat proof. It is not advisable to place hot pots and pans directly on the kitchen countertop, since this may not only damage the surface but also void the warranty. To avoid this, it is suggested that you place a trivet or hot pad below the heated pan to protect the surface.

To maintain a Quorastone surface it is advisable to not cut vegetables directly on the kitchen countertop, rather employ a cutting board. The surface might be tough but it is definitely not indestructible and can damage easily on use of abrasive cleaners and pads, since they can cause scratching. Quorastone is resistant to cracking although excessive force or pressure/weight can cause failure of a seam or material. Avoid strong solvents or chemicals, as they might discolour the material. Chemicals to avoid include, but are not limited to, nail polish remover, paint remover, bleach, oven cleaners, drain cleaners and other chemicals with a high alkaline or PH level. With regular maintenance you Quorastone countertop will remain beautiful for a lifetime.
